Terms of Use
Upon purchase and/or activation of a Gift Wrapped Travel voucher you will be prompted to read our terms and conditions. You acknowledge understanding and acceptance of, and become legally bound by, our terms and conditions by ticking the box provided for this purpose. Use of this website is subject to our Terms and Conditions. Please do not use this website if you do not accept our Terms and Conditions.
Prices
All prices are based on our supplier’s tariff at the time of quote and are subject to change. We reserve the right to change prices without notice if our supplier’s tariff changes. All prices include local taxes at the current rate.
As our supplier’s tariff is costed in the applicable local currency, our prices are subject to currency fluctuations and are calculated at the prevailing foreign exchange rate as determined by Gift Wrapped Travel.
Exchangeable Gifts
A gift certificate is issued to the recipient for a specific gift, i.e. Magic London Day Tour. If not suitable, the recipient may exchange the gift for another in any of our 120+ countries at the time of activation and upon payment of an administration fee, if this hasn't already been paid for by the person buying the gift.
When a gift is exchanged during the activation process, the value of that gift is credited to the recipient’s account as a 'payment'. A new gift and date of service must be selected at that time from the booking engine.
If you select an alternative gift of higher value than the original gift, you will be required to pay the difference. If you select a gift of lesser value than the original gift, you may use this credit by purchasing another service from the booking engine. Any unused credit will be forfeited.
Unused Gift Wrapped Travel Passports or exchange credit from selecting a lower-priced gift are not redeemable for cash or refundable under any circumstances. Gifts may be exchanged as described above but are otherwise non-refundable.
Travel gift certificates must be activated and booked within 12 months from the date of purchase. Travel gift certificates expire 12 months from date of purchase without exception.
Gift Wrapped Travel Passports
Gift Wrapped Travel Passports are gifts of specific denominations which can only be used towards the purchase of travel services from Gift Wrapped Travel’s booking engine, unless otherwise noted. Gift Wrapped Travel Passports are not valid for purchase of services featured on the Gift Wrapped Travel Shop or Travel Club page of this site. Gift Wrapped Travel Passports are valid for purchases from our gift activation booking engine.
Gift Wrapped Travel Passports are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances.
Gift Wrapped Travel Passport sales are final and are non-refundable in whole or in part.
Gift Wrapped Travel Passports expire 12 months from the date of purchase without exception.
Mis-use or Loss of Vouchers
Gift Wrapped Travel does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or fraudulent vouchers. The holder is responsible at all times for the safekeeping of gift certificates. Gift Wrapped Travel reserves the right to cancel gift certificates, Gift Wrapped Travel Passports or travel arrangements which have been made by activated gifts or payment with Gift Wrapped Travel Passports, if the purchases were made fraudulently. This would normally apply, but is not restricted to, purchases made with expired credit cards or stolen credit card details.
Refund policy
All Gift Wrapped Travel gift certificates and Gift Wrapped Travel Passports are non-refundable and not exchangeable/redeemable for cash. In the event of cancellation of a service by a supplier, an alternative may be chosen in any location from our booking engine.
Gift Certificate Delivery
Gift Wrapped Travel cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of an emailed gift certificate being blocked by web filters or firewalls. The gift certificate will be delivered to the email address entered by the purchaser of the gift, or owner of the wishlist. If a gift certificate has not been received at the email address, please contact Gift Wrapped Travel for assistance. You will need the confirmation email which was sent to you upon purchase for identification.
Service Voucher Delivery
When a gift is activated, a service voucher will be emailed to you. The service voucher is your only proof of payment and can only be obtained by activating a gift. Gift Wrapped Travel cannot be held liable or responsible for any loss suffered as a result of an emailed service voucher being blocked by web filters or firewalls. The service voucher will be delivered to the email address entered when a gift is activated. If a service voucher has not been received at the email address, please contact Gift Wrapped Travel for assistance. You will need the gift certificate email which was sent to you upon purchase for identification. GIFT CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY SERVICE PROVIDERS - gifts must be activated in order to obtain correct documentation for the service.
Travel Suppliers
Gift Wrapped Travel is a fully-licensed travel company. We take all reasonable precautions when procuring travel products and services by using major international suppliers and reputable licensed tour operators. We do not own hotels nor operate our own tours or attractions, therefore Gift Wrapped Travel acts as a reseller and distributor of all travel services sold from our site.
Occasionally our suppliers and/or service providers make changes to tour dates, prices, inclusions, coverage, age requirements, etc. Consequently Gift Wrapped Travel reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service, tour, ticket or product that you have booked at our website, at any time as determined by our suppliers.
1.If a travel gift is purchased and subsequently withdrawn by our suppliers before it is activated, Gift Wrapped Travel Dollars to the same value as the gift purchased will be credited to your account upon activation so that you may choose an alternative gift.
2.If a travel gift is withdrawn by our suppliers after it is activated, you will be notified and your account will be credited the same value of Gift Wrapped Travel Dollars so that you may choose an alternative gift.
Availability of travel gifts
Travel gifts are purchased by entering an indicative date for use. The recipient activates a gift and books the actual date required. All travel accommodation, tours and services are offered by suppliers subject to availability and operation on the actual date requested. Gifts should be activated and booked as soon as possible after receiving the travel gift. Bookings are not finalised until the recipient has received a confirmation and supplier voucher. Gift Wrapped Travel Gift Certificates are not accepted by our suppliers. Gifts must be activated and booked on this site by the recipient in order to acquire the correct supplier documentation as proof of purchase for the travel service.
Payment
Payment is accepted by Mastercard, Visa, American Express and PayPal. A merchant fee may apply for processing credit card and PayPal payments. Merchant fees if applicable are available before finalising purchases at the check-out.
Payment will be shown as GIFT WRAPPED TRAVEL on your credit card or PayPal statement.
Amendments
Amendments for activated accommodation, tours or cruises may be made subject to availability of the new request. An amendment fee of $A50 will apply per booking and includes re-issue of supplier vouchers if necessary. Any change may result in higher rate charges in accordance with the tariff, which must be paid by the user. All requests for amendments must be directed to the Gift Wrapped Travel Customer Service.
Cancellation
To avoid loss due to an unforeseen event, we strongly recommend travel insurance. Gift Wrapped Travel offers discounted travel insurance for Australian resident customers. In the event of cancellation of a service by a supplier, an alternative may be chosen in any location from our booking engine.

Passports & Visas
It is the responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of correct travel documentation. Check entry and visa requirements for holders of your passport with each consulate of the country you intend to visit. Visa and health requirements may change at short or without notice.
Site Content Accuracy
All content on this site is procured from our suppliers and tour operators and is updated dynamically from their databases. Our suppliers contract and arrange travel services and provide all information. We make every effort to ensure accuracy by working with reliable suppliers. When we are notified of a significant change to a travel service that has already been activated we will email the consumer immediately using their registered address.
Accommodation
Should any changes be advised pertaining to accommodation, overnight coach tours or cruises which have been activated and confirmed from a wishlist, we will email the wishlist owner immediately using their registered address. For coach tours including accommodation, the tour operator reserves the right to substitute indicated hotels for a similar alternative on any departure for any reason.
Check-in / Check-out
Standard hotel check-in policy is after 2pm on the day of arrival. Standard hotel check-out policy is usually 10am, however as this varies widely, you should check with reception upon check-in.
Travel Insurance
To avoid loss due to an unforeseen event, we strongly recommend travel insurance. Gift Wrapped Travel offers discounted travel insurance to our Australian resident customers.
Liability
Gift Wrapped Travel acts as an agent and has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service provider. Gift Wrapped Travel has no liability for any loss or damage occasioned by any negligent act or omission of any service provider or third party. Where Gift Wrapped Travel's liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the voucher purchased.
Our Responsibility
Users of this site acknowledge by their acceptance, that Gift Wrapped Travel, its agents and suppliers, in making arrangements for hotels, tours, transportation or any service booked on this site by individuals shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours. Further, Gift Wrapped Travel, its agents and suppliers accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, breakdown, government restraints, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control. Our suppliers and tour operators reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any passengers at any time for any reason including, without limitation, insufficient number of participants. All travel documents/vouchers are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by Gift Wrapped Travel, its agents and suppliers.
